Myrtle Beach!!

We just got back from our vacation. We started out by taking the Amtrak to Charlottesville, Virginia. The train ride was beautiful as it headed through the mountains! We then got a rental car and drove it down to Myrtle Beach. The beach was perfect! I took tons of pictures and I thought that I would share a few! We also stopped several places on our way back to Illinois. We had a great time!

The Sea Screamer

We rode on the world's largest speedboat, the Sea Screamer, out into the Atlantic Ocean hoping to catch a glimpse of a dolphin or two. We saw lots of them and got pretty wet in the mean time!

Lookout Mountain

Here is Kevin walking across a swinging bridge on top of Lookout Mountain in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Yikes! He enjoyed walking across the bridge, but one time was enough for me!

U.S.S. North Carolina Battleship Memorial

We took a tour of this Battleship in Wilmington, North Carolina. Very interesting, although it was very hot and sticky in the lower levels of the ship!

Red Hawk

We drove through Cherokee reservations in the Smokey Mountains and got to meet Red Hawk. He chanted a tribal song and Kevin did a little dance! Quite entertaining!

Marjorie's Camp-o-ree!

Cousins Levi, Kevin, Andy, Lonnie and Kaylee share some wild and crazy times at Great-Aunt Marge's camp-out. Thanks for a great time, Marge! It was a hit!
